FALL IS HERE, WINTER IS NEAR AND THESE NEW FASHION TRENDS MIGHT MAKE YOU EXCITED FOR THE COLD!
Harper's Bazaar summed up this Fall/Winter fashion week for us with the top trends, and they are AWESOME!
Here are the top five.
1) Waist belts. That winter coat might seem bulky and unflattering, but adding a waist belt can help! The great thing about waist belts is that you only need a couple that can be added to several outfits.

2) Blues in all hues! I'm actually really excited for this trend. Blue, like the sky and the sea, gives off a sense of calmness. It is the color to wear if you want to show trust, which inevitably makes you more confident. Icy blues are also breathtaking against white snow or an overcast sky.

3) Checks. The Checkered pattern has so much versatility! It can be dressed up with a peacoat or fitted dress, or dressed down with a flannel or lumberjack style coat. Everyone looks good in checks!

4) Ankle Cuffs. I'm personally not completely flattered by this one. Ankle cuffs have been around for a while and are always seen on the heels worn by best dressed celebrities and in fashion shows. Nothing new but it is an added accessory to your dress and it adds length by drawing the eye downward.
5) Razzle Dazzle! Metallic fabrics, Swarvorski crystals, and sequins are just a few ways designers are implementing shine to their designs. Sparkle and shine are good ways to represent the magic in winter and necessary for holiday party attire.
